Problems with VCR/DVD combo; ?customer service
Product problems with VCR/DVD combo and NO customer service:
The VCR will only eject tapes; it does not matter which type of tape, a blank tape or content tape, SP or LP tape. I have tried different outlets, also the screen for the DVD reflects electrical interference.
I would like to try cleaning the heads of the VCR with a commercial online product but am nervous to do so if the VCR ejects all tapes whether blank or content tapes and do not wish to waste a lot of money on products that will not fix the problem. I telephoned the telephone number 1-80*-***-**** given in the Owners Manual; I was advised this telephone number could not be completed and to try*611. I also tried calling other "customer service numbers," some of which wanted to charge for talking to a tech. I have had this product for about 17 years but it has been lightly used.

Preferred solution: Help with determining the problem: ejection of all VHS tapes and if cleaning the VCR portion of the combo will help and if so, what products to use and if Sylvania makes or recommends certain products for cleaning VCR.
